It is important that you know our Service Technicians are paid a fair hourly wage. Most companies in our industry pay a flat-rate, commissioned based pay, which means their technicians are more salesmen than HVAC specialists. This creates a system by which the technicians are rewarded by selling you parts and being in and out of your home quickly.
It also allows them to hide their true labor rates in order to lure customers with low "foot-in-the-door" or even "free" service charges. You can be assured that our technicians' recommendations and diagnostics are not financially motivated, rather they are motivated by finding the true solution to a customer's problem.
$69 Diagnostic
AGL offers an up-front, easy to understand pricing structure. We charge $69 for our service calls during normal hours and a flat-rate on any parts, materials and tasks. The $69 includes our visit to your home and any diagnostic time required by the technician. Our service doesn't stop with the diagnostics, we continue to inspect the rest of your system and provide you with solutions to help avoid large repairs and improve your energy usage.
